Shipping policy

Please choose a shipping option that includes tracking and insurance. Once packages have been shipped, Sparrow Handmade is NOT LIABLE for lost packages. If tracking/insurance are not selected, there is no way to track the package. 

Processing times and thus shipping times are different for ready-made and custom or made-to-order orders. Typically, please allow 10 business days from the date of ordering to the shipping date for your custom piece to be made, unless otherwise indicated.

If you have ordered a custom piece and a ready-made item on the same order, they will ship together when the custom item is ready. 

Shipping times vary and are completely outside of my control. Here is a guideline for estimated shipping times during non-peak mailing seasons:

Canada 3-14 business days
USA 7-25 business days 

Please note that the "estimated date of delivery" on the shipping notice that the customer receives once the item is shipped is only an estimate; many factors influence a product's delivery. It is based on average delivery times, and is automatically generated at the time of shipping. 

Sparrow Handmade is not responsible for duties, VAT, or import fees. Please be aware of your country's policy on these fees.

If your package's tracking has major concerns I will, of course, do everything possible on my end to find more details. If packages are marked as delivered but you did not receive your package, it is your responsibility to contact your post office to try and locate the item, or if you think it has been stolen to complete a police report.

If tracking/insurance coverage were selected by the customer at the time of purchase, and in the event a package gets lost in transit and enough time has passed for me to file an insurance claim, the customer will be refunded for the lost package or have a replacement sent after the claim has been approved.
